For us, growing food without chemicals is non-negotiable.

Thats why we were so excited when we discovered that farmers are having such great success with ionised water!

We began by using it on our pot plants and couldn’t believe how it was able to bring them back to life. So we started looking into it more and found that many legal cannabis growers in the states and fruit and veg growers in Asia have started using ionised water to organically manage pests and diseases and help their plants thrive. We now incorporate it into our organic gardening practices.

Here are some of the ways you can use the water to benefit your garden and plants;

Strong acidic water and strong alkaline water can be used alternatively to control pests such as aphids, mites and fungus gnats and fight diseases like mould and powdery mildew.

Due to its sterilising abilities, the strong acidic water can be used instead of chemicals like bleach to clean equipment and pots and to keep your work area sanitised.

The mild acidic water is the same PH as rain and due to being ionised helps the plants absorb water and nutrients.

The alkaline water is also great for extending the life of cut flowers.
